All concrete, standard or decorative, poured by Atlantis, undergoes the same sub-grade preparation. (See Standard Concrete page for sub-grade preparation)

Colored Concrete

   Atlantis uses Scofield CHROMIX Admixtures (base color chart) which is a liquid integral color that is added to the concrete at the batch plant. Scofield CHROMIX Admixtures have a rich diverse palette of concrete colors and create an evenly dispersed, consistent, streak free concrete color throughout the concrete mix. While other product lines and colors are available, Atlantis has had the best results using this product.

Stamped Concrete

   Decorative stamped concrete is a great way to add charm, value, and elegance to your home. The concrete is colored (base color chart above), poured and imprinted with a stamp to create the appearance of natural stone, slate, granite, brick or cobblestone. 

   A release agent is needed to prevent our stamps from sticking to the unfinished concrete. Atlantis uses Brickform Antique Release (Please see Antique Release color chart page) which also gives the concrete a secondary color for a more natural look.

   Once the concrete has properly hardened, we pressure wash and apply a protective sealant giving the concrete colors more depth while increasing durability and resistance to stains.
